eMoney Does the Analysis. Asset-Map Runs the Meeting.

eMoney is one of the most powerful platforms in wealth management. Real-time account aggregation. Sophisticated cash-flow projections. A client portal clients actually log into. If you use eMoney, you already know why it is worth the investment.

What eMoney does not do is replace the moment in a client meeting when everything clicks.

That moment happens when a client looks at a single page and sees their financial life organized around the people they are trying to protect. It happens when a spouse who has been half-engaged for years suddenly says, “Wait, that’s ours?” It happens when a planning gap surfaces not from a checklist but from a conversation that the visual invited.

Asset-Map creates that moment. Every meeting.

Your planning tool does the analysis. Asset-Map runs the client conversation. That is not redundancy. That is a complete planning experience.

How Asset-Map and eMoney Work Together

The eMoney integration syncs financial data directly into Asset-Map, minimizing manual data entry and keeping households current without manual updates. Assets, liabilities, income sources, insurance, trusts, and beneficiaries all import from eMoney and populate the Asset-Map household immediately. A right-click sync before any meeting pulls the latest values so the visual is current when the client walks in.

The integration also closes the loop on the eMoney Vault. After the meeting, generate a PDF of the client’s Asset-Map and send it directly to the Vault. Clients can log in and access their visual financial inventory any time.

The Advisor Workflow

  1. Pull your eMoney data into Asset-Map. Assets, liabilities, income, insurance, trusts, and beneficiaries import into the household, minimizing manual data entry.
  2. Apply the Integrations Stencil to surface held-away assets, missing insurance, entities, and other planning gaps that eMoney data does not capture on its own.
  3. Right-click sync before every review meeting to refresh values with the latest eMoney data.
  4. Open the meeting with the household on one page. The client sees their full financial life organized around the people they are protecting.
  5. Run the meeting from the Asset-Map view. Use Signals to surface financial risk, Target-Maps to discuss goal funding, and Drafts to model proposed changes in real time. Then generate a PDF of the Asset-Map and send it to the eMoney Vault for the client's permanent record.

What Advisors Gain

  1. A visual map that stays current because it syncs directly from eMoney.
  2. A clean, client-ready record in the eMoney Vault after every meeting.
  3. Signals, Target-Maps, Stencils, and Drafts layered on top of live eMoney data.
  4. Beneficiary Visualization powered by eMoney beneficiary data, surfacing estate planning conversations that often get skipped.
  5. Faster discovery because the visual pulls out what eMoney data does not.

The Conversation Starter

“We use eMoney to organize the technical details and track the daily movements of your financial life. Today I want to step back and look at the big picture. I’ve pulled your latest eMoney data into Asset-Map so we can see everything on one page, including assets, liabilities, income, insurance, and the people your financial life is built around. Does this feel complete to you, or is there something we’ve missed?”

Depth and Clarity Are Not the Same Thing

eMoney is built for depth. The data is comprehensive, the projections are precise, and the infrastructure handles the complexity of serious planning. Advisors who use eMoney serve clients who have sophisticated financial lives and expect a sophisticated planning experience.

Depth without clarity is not enough. A client who cannot see their financial life on one page is a client who cannot engage with the plan you built. eMoney produces the plan. Asset-Map produces the moment of understanding that makes the client ready for it.

The advisors who use both describe it as the stack they always wanted: serious data infrastructure on one side, and a conversation tool that actually works with clients on the other.

Frequently Asked Questions: Asset-Map and eMoney

Does Asset-Map replace eMoney?

No. eMoney handles data aggregation, account tracking, and cash-flow projections. Asset-Map is a visual conversation layer. eMoney does the analytical work. Asset-Map makes sure that work reaches the client in a way they can understand and act on. Most advisors who use both describe Asset-Map as the client-facing layer that makes eMoney’s depth accessible in every meeting.

How does the Asset-Map and eMoney integration work?

The integration syncs financial data from eMoney into Asset-Map, including assets, liabilities, income, insurance, trusts, and beneficiary information. Advisors activate the integration from the Asset-Map Integrations page using their eMoney credentials. Households import via Add Household, and values stay current through right-click sync. Advisors can also send Asset-Map PDFs directly to the eMoney Vault after meetings.

What financial data imports from eMoney into Asset-Map?

The integration imports investment assets, IRAs and retirement accounts, checking and savings accounts, real estate, liabilities, income sources including salary and Social Security, life insurance, long-term care insurance, disability insurance, and trust structures. Entities and business interests categorized in eMoney as such are not currently imported. Beneficiaries do import.

How do I keep my Asset-Map current with eMoney data?

Use the right-click sync option directly on the Asset-Map Report before any meeting. You can also sync from the Actions menu in the left-side navigation or from the financial or member info window. Asset-Map recommends using the same browser for both platforms to avoid sync failures.

How does the eMoney Vault feature work with Asset-Map?

After building the client’s Asset-Map, generate a PDF from the Reports page or by right-clicking on the map. From the Reports History page, use the Share Report icon and click Send Report to push the PDF directly to the client’s eMoney Vault. The client can then access their visual financial inventory from within their eMoney client portal.

What happens to Asset-Map data if I update something in eMoney after importing?

The dollar value fields and data update fields sync when you perform a sync action. All other fields in Asset-Map, including the institution or location label, can be edited manually in Asset-Map. The institution name field does not update automatically after the initial import even if changed in eMoney, so advisors may want to update that field manually if needed.

Can I use eMoney and an AI notetaker like Jump or Contio at the same time?

Yes. Many advisors run Jump or Contio for meeting intelligence, Asset-Map as the visual conversation layer, and eMoney for deep planning analysis. Each tool occupies a distinct role in the practice.

eMoney Built the Depth. Asset-Map Brings It to the Meeting.

You have already invested in the data infrastructure that serious planning requires. Asset-Map makes sure that investment shows up in every client conversation, not just in the reports you generate between them.
