How to become a good financial advisor
Being a "good" advisor means mastering the language of advice. We often fall into the trap of speaking "financial-ese," which only serves to distance us from the families we serve. To be good at this craft, you must facilitate high-level conversations around intentionality. Ask the hard questions: "Why do you own this?" and "How does this specific asset serve your family's mission?" When you move from being a salesperson to a participant in their financial journey, you've reached the level of a true professional.
